How do I know if the problem is design or copy?

Design and copy should be analyzed together. If users don't understand the offer or can't find answers to their objections, copy is the problem; if they understand it but can't navigate, read, or complete an action, UX is the issue. Testing, analytics, session recordings, and sales feedback help separate perceptions from real problems.
