What happens before paying for the next phase?

Before the next phase, the client checks what was planned for the current step, flags any corrections, and approves the deliverable following the agreed procedure. Only then does work continue on activities that depend on that approval. This keeps control in place and prevents weeks of work from being built on an unvalidated base.
