How do you verify that a migration is complete?

A migration is verified through quantitative and qualitative reconciliation: record counts, identifiers, financial totals when relevant, relationships between tables, and selected samples. We also check excluded or transformed data and document exceptions. The client or the responsible department validates critical data before go-live.
