Software, CRM and apps / When custom software is worth it
My standard business management system limits me: when is it worth replacing?
It's worth replacing or supplementing a standard system when workarounds, external spreadsheets, and double entry cost more than customization and hold back control or growth. We run an audit to distinguish configuration issues from structural limits; often the best solution is to keep the standard system for some functions and build custom modules around it.
